DR. MICHEL A. KORNEGAY (REECE)
Dr. Kornegay manages and operates the ARMMED laboratory in which she has secured nearly $750K in equipment purchase or donations. She has served as a PI or Co-PI on over $8M of externally funded research grants.
Previously, she served as a postdoctoral researcher of the Microwave Systems Section of the RF Engineering Group at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory Space Department. She has a passion for education where she has developed a curriculum for the RF Microwave Engineering concentration offered at MSU, one out of a very few HBCUs to have a dedicated program in this area.
Dr. Kornegay has over 15-years of experience in the areas of RF/microwave engineering, communications, electronic circuit measurement, and MMIC/MIC design. Dr. Kornegay also serves as one of the Co-Directors for the Center for Reverse Engineering and Assured Microelectronics (CREAM). CREAM leads the university’s efforts in the Internet of Things (IoT) Security Research, which includes the following areas: physical-level cyber-security, software and hardware reverse engineering, and secure embedded system design.
